My name is Emma. I am a black & white Shih Tzu puppy and was born on 8/1/08.

I was born C-Section. After popping out 1 puppy, my mom had difficult time giving birth to the rest of the puppies and me due to a condition of uterine inertia. It is also called "stalled labor", where the vaginal canal is favorable for birth, but for some reason contractions have ceased, or stopped. The vet ended up shaving Mommy and had C-Sectioned to deliver the rest of the litter and me safely.
